The Infamous Cloak

So as many know, we have these incredibly awesome cloaks we take to events.  After many years of adequate cloaks, blankets and extra layers of clothing, we decided that what we really needed was one good, warm, nice cloak each.  We decided on the Moroccan Burnoose pattern, which is a full half circle, made of heavy wool twill with a fleece lining.  At the time, it cost about $90 for each one but we have never regretted it.

Many of the people we have loaned them too are amazed at how warm they are and how comfortable.  One of our best friends attends Great Western War with us and decided that he wanted one of his very own. So as part of a birthday present, and part of his funding, a third epic cloak was made for about $120.  It came out very nice with the rope trim and the rich brown color, much more photogenic that ours so here is the finished cloak.
